About Batsheva Baraban

I am a leadership strategist and executive coach specializing in cross-cultural leadership, organizational alignment, and execution in complex environments.

I hold a Master's from Harvard University in International Education Policy, focused on Adaptive Leadership development, and bring over a decade of senior leadership experience across high tech, international nonprofits, and education.

I served as CEO of 50:50 Startups, an Israel–U.S. venture incubator, and founded Integraliah, scaling it to over $2M in revenue within its first year. Across these roles, I built multicultural teams, designed executive leadership programs, and turned strategy into measurable traction.

Through Spiralead, I work with high tech companies, private sector organizations, and NGOs to strengthen alignment, decision-making, and collaboration in multicultural and fast-changing environments.

French-Israeli by background and global by experience, I work fluently in Hebrew, English, and French.

What Spiralead Offers

Experiential, practical sessions designed for real teams facing real challenges

Bridging the Gap: Cultural Intelligence for Global Teams

1 hour experiential lecture

An experiential lecture for global teams working across Israel and the U.S. Turn cultural friction into trust, clarity, and stronger performance.

The Challenge

Global teams fail less because of strategy and more because of unspoken cultural misunderstandings: directness mistaken for rudeness, diplomacy read as avoidance, speed confused with chaos, and structure seen as rigidity.

What Participants Will Gain

  • Decode hidden cultural assumptions in communication, feedback, decision-making, and conflict
  • Understand why misunderstandings occur between Israeli and U.S.-based teams
  • Learn how to adapt without losing authenticity
  • Turn cultural friction into trust, clarity, and stronger performance

Ideal For

  • Global and hybrid teams
  • Israeli companies working with U.S. counterparts
  • Managers leading multicultural teams
  • HR leaders seeking high-impact, non-generic learning experiences

Outcome: Clearer communication, reduced friction, and more effective collaboration across borders.

Lead Like a Spiral: Women's Leadership for a Changing World

1 hour leadership lecture

A thoughtful leadership perspective for International Women's Day. Non-linear leadership rooted in inner clarity, relational intelligence, and navigating complexity.

The Approach

This lecture offers a thoughtful leadership perspective that combines contemporary leadership theory, real organizational experience, and a non-linear model of leadership inspired by women's cycles and systems thinking.

It speaks to leadership as a practice rooted in inner clarity, relational intelligence, and the ability to navigate complexity—rather than focusing on inspiration alone.

What Makes It Different

  • Meaningful, substantive content (not generic inspiration)
  • Reflective moments that engage without requiring personal exposure
  • Effective for mixed, global, and senior audiences
  • Clear language and frameworks participants can continue to use

The Session Includes

Two short, well-contained reflective moments that engage the audience without requiring group sharing or workshop-style participation, making it effective and comfortable for diverse audiences.

Outcome: Participants leave with clear language, insight, and a conceptual framework they can continue to use in their professional lives.

Negotiation as Navigation

1.5 hour interactive workshop

A practical, experiential workshop for everyday negotiations. Harvard Kennedy School frameworks adapted to Israeli workplace culture.

Why This Workshop

Negotiation is no longer limited to sales or procurement. Employees negotiate daily: priorities, salaries, deadlines, resources, hybrid work, boundaries, and even personal commitments that affect performance.

Yet most people approach negotiation intuitively, emotionally, or defensively—often escalating conflict instead of creating movement.

The Core Approach

Instead of teaching negotiation as persuasion or "winning", the workshop reframes it as navigation: How do you move forward when interests clash, emotions run high, or power is uneven?

Participants Learn To

  • Separate people from problems
  • Identify real interests beneath positions
  • Communicate under pressure
  • Generate options beyond "yes/no"
  • Know when to agree and when to walk away

What Participants Experience

  • A live negotiation simulation that reveals common blind spots
  • Guided reflection on emotions, perception, and communication
  • A structured listening exercise that replaces debate with understanding
  • Practical tools for immediate application

Key Concepts Covered

  • People vs. Problem: Managing emotions without personalizing conflict
  • Interests vs. Positions: Understanding the "why" behind demands
  • Option Generation: Creating value before making trade-offs
  • Objective Criteria: Making fair decisions without power struggles
  • BATNA: Knowing your alternatives and negotiation power

Outcome: More confident, clear, and effective in difficult conversations—at work and beyond.

Executive Coaching Tailored to You

Flexible format — virtual or in-person

One-on-one coaching for executives ready to lead differently. Strategic clarity meets personal insight in a container built for your reality.

The Need

Leadership isn't static. You're navigating board dynamics, scaling challenges, cultural complexity, or a pivotal transition—and the frameworks that got you here may not take you forward.

Generic coaching offers theory. You need someone who understands your context: startup velocity, cross-border complexity, organizational politics, and the specific tensions you're managing right now.

The Approach

This is not career advice or motivational talking. It's structured thinking partnership for leaders facing real complexity.

Each engagement is tailored around your actual challenges—whether that's preparing for critical negotiations, managing cross-cultural teams, navigating organizational transformation, or clarifying strategic direction amid competing pressures.

What You'll Gain

  • Strategic clarity on complex decisions and competing priorities
  • Sharper navigation of cultural, political, and interpersonal dynamics
  • Grounded frameworks for negotiation, influence, and difficult conversations
  • Confidential space to think through challenges with an outside perspective
  • Practical tools rooted in Harvard frameworks and real organizational experience

How It Works

Sessions are designed around your schedule and needs—whether a focused engagement around a specific challenge or ongoing strategic partnership. Virtual or in-person. Hebrew, English, or French.

Outcome: You lead with more clarity, confidence, and strategic precision—without losing yourself in the process.
